Well, several of Phil's students are part of the UtahValley.rb/BYU-RUG, so Phil's aware of Ruby and RoR. (And seems supportive to some degree.)
I personally have never been able to get past the syntax of Ruby to play with RoR.
Too bad. I'm a big fan of the syntax, but don't really do much in RoR because I don't do much web development. (Python just makes my head hurt, so I'm sure it's all a matter of taste.)
I would be willing to help out with anything else though. slide
