I did some blackberry development for updating my address book on
Exchange with the PIN numbers of everyone in my group that had a BB as
well. The issues I found were that there are several sets of
documentation, e.g. they have some older documentation talking about
how to interact with the PIM system on the device, but they have moved
away from that to using the J2ME stuff for pretty much everything. It
was a little confusing at first. The development environment needed
some tweaks to get it to work with a newer JDK, but the emulator was
invaluable to say the least.
