The gospel library on lds.org has the text in various formats. I use
MobiPocket on my treo 680

I have a real problem with the index for the MakeMyScriptures
file. You have to scroll through multiple pages that have numbers
and titles. The file I created (using the document with mistakes) is
more like the mobipocket interfact that allows me to quickly get to
any hymn with a lot less effort. That is why I am looking for a text
file so that I can build my own indexed document.
