LDS Developers,
Does anyone have experience user Trac (trac.edgewall.org) with
Subversion? Trac is like the project tracking GUI. I have people
that use subversion directly but don't get the Trac front-end and
how to coordinate it.
WordPress uses Trac: http://trac.wordpress.org/
I've found it to be quite handy. How much use you get out of it
depends on how many of the features you want to really use. For
instance, it has ticket integration, but if you are doing that in
another system then it won't be of much use to you. The ticket
integration has some neat tricks using Subversion hooks to watch for
commit logs that mention fixes for tickets, then Trac will
automatically catch that and close the ticket (if that is what was
indicated).
I'd recommended it. I'm not aware of any another Subversion specific
project layer that compares with it at this point.
