I have been playing with ERDB (Emergency Preparedness Database by Jay
Askren) and found it to be quite good for the use of a ward but have been
tasked with getting it to work at the Stake level. I thought that this would
be essentially a matter of periodically merging the XML files and running it
on the Stake machine but there can be a conflict with the MLSFamilyID. If
two families in different wards are using the same id then the second one is
not read in.

It probably isn't a big deal to renumber them as at the Stake level, there
are of no importance. That file is only going to be used for queries anyways
and I am guessing that they are used for tracking new, updates and deletes.

Has anybody done something similar, have other options for tracking
Emergency preparedness information, or even feedback on if you are using the
same software and your results?

Thanks,
Kevin
