In any case, surely developers who integrate with the open source 
community are worth more.  Open source means opening your mind to vast 
amounts of software, knowledge, ideas, and opportunities, all of which 
are constantly expanding and can be carried from one project or job to 
the next.  No commercial offering compares.

Open source is a tremendous blessing for those who are willing to 
understand and accept it.
