I've been trying to implement the use of /sbin/halt during the boot process - for instance, if a critical package won't load, or a disk won't mount. However, when that happens, I get all sorts of errors, then an admonition that I should use /sbin/shutdown instead, then more errors, then the system continues on (!). How do I use halt properly to get it to *STOP* instead of all this other stuff? This is Oxygen development, which should be relevant to LRP 2.9.7 (the origins of Oxygen) and to LRP 2.9.8 .... -- David Douthitt UNIX Systems Administrator HP-UX, Linux, Unixware [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Leaf-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/leaf-devel
