Agreed. I have yet to decide if the server I'm setting up now is going to
go with me to work to be a co-lo box - it's my mail/web/ftp/DNS/whatever
server, and if it wasn't for the fact that I might want to run X Sessions
off of it so that I can be in Windows and still have access to the best
parts of X Windows (Lets face it gang, ain't no UNIX browser out there
that matches up to IE5, no matter how much I want Mozilla to succeed), I'd
co-lo it in a heartbeat.
Now, if I do that, we may be able to mirror larger stuff off of it,
because A) I've got a Celeron 433 with a 30 gig drive for catching mail
and hosting a single personal domain and website, and B) It'll be living
on a 10Mbit connection to dual OC-3s. =)

He did indeed. We were discussing something along these lines a few weeks
ago, and during the course, I discovered quite by accident that the
"LRP=" parameter on 2.9.8 will allow you to specify directory, like so:
LRP=package,otherpkg,somedir/newpkg,somedir/otherdir/oldpkg
Kinda surprised me actually. If you're using a bootable CD, this works
great. If, on the other hand, you need to boot from floppy, it might be a
problem. I don't know precisely how Eiger and derivatives boot, so that
puts it a little past me.
