Found it, thanks.  Either you touched the dates funny
or sourceforce is having a 2000/ 2001 problem.
gdb.lrp is listed as 

  gdb.lrp      573 Kb    Mon Mar 27 13:27:00 2000 

Same date on develop.ima

I'd just like to know how Mark found where it was
segfaulting.  I tried strace and ltrace, but I don't
know how to use them.  I got somewhere, but it didn't
jive with what Mark found.
