I'll try debugging next; I just tried compiling with a glibc 2.1.3
environment and running in a different glibc 2.1.3 environment, and it
segfaulted.
The compile environment is Linux 2.2.16 based Red Hat 6.2 with
glibc-2.1.3-22.i386.rpm; the runtime environment is Linux 2.2.18 based
Oxygen (LRP variant) with glibc 2.1.3.
I've strace, ltrace, and gdb around here for the Oxygen and LRP
environment; I'll try those too.
