An alternate location would be somewhere in downtown San Francisco, if the
transportation to Treasure Island is poor (also, Treasure Island will be
swarming with BattleBots builders and spectators...this could be good or
bad, depending on your perspective :->). The hotel I'm staying at is the
Holiday Inn Civic Center, which is downtown, right off I-80.
Also, I'll have transportation, so I could get anywhere reasonably close to
downtown (I'll defer to you locals on this...everything looks pretty close
to someone from Kansas, but I'm used to cruising at 80 on the highways and
little or no traffic...I hear it can take hours to go a few miles out there
on the coasts!).
