I don't know the sources for the original EigerStein glibc, but Oxygen
used the latest security updated glibc 2.0.7 binaries from Debian
until recently.  Then the Debian sources were downloaded and compiled
with make in the main source directory.  As libc-2.0.7 turned out to
be a primary culprit, and since the library compile failed after libc
was done, I just used that, and a host of problems were fixed.

I never used anything but "strip" ...
