Hi all, I'm going through the boot process of Oxygen looking for stuff to streamline or discard. I've attached a Gnumeric spreadsheet of what I think is happening, which is clearly somewhat incomplete since I can't find where the scripts in /etc/init.d are running from :-(. Specific questions are in yellow or red boxes. My goal is to minimize configuration files and scripts: the init.d scripts are easy enough, but the system's boot process is somewhat mysterious and could probably be cleaned up, especially for a fixed purpose server like Ladybug.
