Recently someone mentioned microwindows.... I've heard of it before, and even had a version of it around here somewhere that I tried under LRP with a kernel supporting framebuffers. However, I could never find ANY documentation that answered this question: * What do I do with it? I've seen the docs about how to program with it (I'm not an X programmer), and other things - but never an answer to my question. Let's pose another question: Let's say I want to get xterm and xdialog running under microwindows. * How do I get these programs to work? * How do I start microwindows? * What kernel support does it require? * What libraries do I need? * Can I use any XWindows program? * Do they have to be recompiled with microwindows? * How do I do this on a standard box? * Are there programs that won't work with microwindows? Why?
