pn], Ewald, I'm having serious problems with this release.  Twice, I've had
problems booting-up after saving my configuration.  Once, the e3.lrp package
got errors trying to uncompress, and now it's happened to the root.lrp
package.  I'm running the Hard Disk Addon, so I'm backing up to a HD, not a
floppy (normally, I'd suspect a bad floppy first).  Any change this could be
related to my using the kernel w/IDE support instead of the supplied kernel?
I tend to think not, since things seem to work when the boot works.

The exact messages:
