Tinydns is an excellent option, and very suited to the LRP/LEAF environment.
However, there are a LOT of systems out there running Bind, and a lot of
sysadmins that are familiar with setting up and administering Bind, yet
worried about potential security problems...this is the target 'market' for
a very thin Bind platform.
It would also be quite possible to build exactly the same sort of system
using Tinydns, and I would expect this to happen as well, but Tinydns
doesn't benifit as much from the restricted environment, being more secure
and less complex to start with.
