Unfortunately the SAMBA binaries are very large as they statically link the
various smb libraries into every file. I haven't hacked the samba code much,
but have found this to be a very annoying trait of the product. There is a
tiny nmbd, and I believe nmblookup as well, on the internet somewhere that
works good for the name resolution part of samba, and that can significantly
reduce the size of your package.
