I am looking forward to see it working :) For such purposes, NILO, NetBoot, EtherBoot, etc are, perhaps, not the best solution, I think you are right. Also for one more reason: the kernel is large to be downloaded over the net if you're not on the same LAN the server is and have a slow (64k or less) connection. They are good solutions, though for scenarios like the ones I was talking about before.
