Hi all,

I've made the LEAF bootable CD with kernel 2.4.5 available at:

http://web.tiscali.it/l_capriotti/

This is the brief description you'll also find there:

LEAF with 2.4.5-grsecurity bootable CDROM
It all started with Oxygen May2001 release and Andrew Hoying kernel and
iptables package...

This CDROM should work with any Pentium (or more) PC with one or more 3Com
PCI NICs.

Configuration:
1. put an empty floppy (1.44 MB) on the A: drive and start the PC from the
CDROM.(the floppy will be the place for any modified packages; packages
stored there replace any similar on the CDROM).
2. configure the network addresses and other system settings and backup
the etc package to save the status (apkg -b etc).
3. generate sshd keys and save them (apkg -b shhdcfg).
4. modify squid parameters and save them (apkg -b squidcfg). You'll need
also to mount an ext2 partition at boot and configure the cache dir to be
saved there!
5. modify shorewall config files and save them (apkg -b shorwall).

Here you are: a working stateful firewall!.
Looking forward to your comments!

Luigi Capriotti
