Really, David, neither of these is the obvious candidate for why people are
distracted this week. Since Tuesday, I've seen low traffic (from US posters,
and least, and maybe worldwide - that's harder to judge) on all the lists I
participate in. (Even the spam seems slow this week.)
I expect it will take a bit more time before interest levels start to get
back to normal. Be patient.
