Doesn't logrotate (rotatelog) manage this correctly or did this get dropped? I've been running LRP 2.9.[3 or 4] for over a year now and am a bit out of touch with some of the newer offerings, but that should change RSN(tm) when "the domino upgrade"[1] occurs.
