On a new install, the network won't be there,
I think we can safely guess. Yet I've done
these Oxygen tests a bunch, so I'm pretty
good at getting my network as close to there
as possible, before install.

Even after I set the whole thing up, network.conf
and all, backup and reboot, it still hangs on the
  --- rcS --- part.

Nothing in dmesg. I could start putting in
some echo's in rcS I guess, to try to track
it down.

Neat. I'm busy reinstalling UnixWare :-o

My tape drive fried a few months ago, so
that's what I get to do this week.

It's not that big of a deal, except that
the way setup used to step through all the files
has changed, and so I want to go through
each menu option to be sure I've set up all
the files that need it. I can't even remember
what's in the System submenu :)

I was wondering if Setup didn't run as part
of the rcS ^C hang/workaround issue.

Thanks, it's not on the Easy072601, but it's
available as a package, so I could just add
it or whatever. Netstat was there, but not
route.

     netstat 22,375 07/18/2001 03:43:56

I saw libc load. Was that 2.1.3? Just
wondering.

Tanks,
Matt
