I've been searching my archives (I tend to keep my mail WAAAAAY too long
:) and have found some interesting things with regards to Oxygen and
Linux 2.4. In terms of people and kernel versions and all, this is what
I've found:

Oxygen, Linux 2.4.5, and CDROM: Andrew Hoying, Luigi Capriotti, and at
least one other
Dachstein CDROM: Charles Steinkuehler, and KP Kirchdorfer...

I noticed that all the work seems to be with 2.4.5; is this because
George Metz (?) compiled 2.4.5? The current version is at 2.4.16; has
anyone compiled 2.4.16 for LEAF? Are there LEAF patches for 2.4.16?

I saw a post from George Metz on October 19 that said 2.2.19 and
earlier, and 2.4.10 and earlier had serious security problems with the
newgrp binary. I'm currently working on getting 2.2.20 going; is there
any work on 2.4.16?

What issues does one get moving from 2.2 to 2.4? What are issues are
people finding in converting to CDROM?
