Hello Jacques, others Thanks for your answer, changing the kernel was what i wanted to do. I misunderstood your previous posts. I read them but understood, you wanted to get rid of the patch, that you allready have i missed.
After booting with the "small-linux",I managed to get the rp-pppoe, with ppp-2.4.1, connect to another machine running the same pppd and the pppoe-server script. Allthough there is still a problem at the authentification. Could be a configuration problem. Due to the limited ppp_2.4.1.lrp ( the pppoe plugin is not included) is a kernel based pppoe not possible. BTW did you use the original pppd or the patched version. (kernel pppoe patch) The previously expected advantage that the kernel based pppoe would be smaller is an illusion. the unpacked pppoe.so plugin has over 135 Kb. (my pppoe.lrp 36 Kb ;) ) If I find time in the next days, I will try further, and I will keep you informed greetings Eric Wolzak http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/ericw _______________________________________________ Leaf-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-devel
