busybox is also used by most full distribution install diskettes -
such as Debian.

Many OpenSource projects don't come to version 1.0 without serious
consideration - so a version 0.98 (as uClibc is) or 0.60.2 (as busybox
is) can be quite stable - and indeed, quite fair along in the
development process.
