Some quick examples of the most dramatic changes (as defined by current development): * POSIXness does not exist * Busybox is statically linked and is now at about 300k (170k dynamically linked?) and contains 77 apps or so * Kernel patches unique to LRP no longer needed * Use of /etc/rc.config.d (like HP-UX) for configuration of startup processes > > It will be interesting to see the impact of moving away > > from glibc 2.0.7 will have on the LEAF project. > Oxygen has been using 2.1.3 for over half a year. Also, Oxygen uses libc.lrp - if you have the space on disk, just replace a 2.1.3 glibc with a 2.2 glibc in a libc.lrp and go. I'm not sure I understand how your project is supposed to work. -- David Douthitt UNIX Systems Administrator HP-UX, Unixware, Linux [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Leaf-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-devel
