There sounds like there's going to be a hot Embedded Linux
confernce in San Francisco March 13, 14, and 15, at Moscone
Center. You can still get in free for the exhibits with a
fax to their registration center.

Two halls. If you haven't been there, it's the big and
modern convention center in the downtown SF financial
district, in the SoMa area of the city (South of Market)
where all the dance clubs, warehouses, and dot.bomb
vacancies are.
The time is ripe for embedded linux, what with all the
cheap PC/104, Compact Flash, and PC Card mass storage
devices appearing on the market converging with the
acceptance of 802.11b.
Looks like it's time for us to start making some
embedded appliances :)
