KP,
Creation of a packages tree in bin is on my to-do list. I already have a
list of packages [1] on our shell server. I also have a method I wish to
use to create the tree(s).
Method:
* import empty bin/packages tree
? import empty bin/packages/libc-2.0 tree
? import empty bin/packages/libc-2.1 tree
* sort packages by internal dates
* add oldest packages first
(commit message will include packager, program/application name,
and release version)
Does anyone see a problem with this method?
Questions:
How can I determine the lib used in package creation? Do we need separate
trees for lib versions?
