I got a chance to deploy an Oxygen 1.8.2 LEAF
setup this weekend, and it works great for me so
far, ceptin' for one smallish bug. The date
program disappeared on me after backing up.
I downloaded and burned a fresh diskette,
booted using "linux" meaning I only used that
one diskette and did the usual setting up the
network.conf, passwd root, passwd lrp, modules.conf,
resolv.conf and a few other confs. I ran the
date command and happily noticed it was telling
me it was CST. Thanks for deploying the new
date program.
So I then backed the changed packages with:
apkg -s root home etc modules
and when I rebooted, the date command was gone.
It disappeared, nowhere on the system anymore.
So it's a medium level bug with the system still
running well reporting GMT in the syslog.
