I imagine so, other than yours will have a lot more options than mine does. I simply packaged Charles' binaries for lcdd and lcdproc and wrote some scripts to take some options for the HD4470 chipset. I wasn't aware there was already a package for this, so I just released the one I was using. Yours sounds a lot more functional.
