Hi, I am attempting to create a new kernel to replace my previous one (2.4.9 + initrd-archive + linuxrc-always). The new one is 2.4.18 + initrd-dyn. I understand that my syslinux.cfg files will have to be different, and am looking for some help. This is my syslinux.cfg file from the 2.4.9 + initrd-archive + linuxrc-always:
Syslinux.cfg: display syslinux.dpy timeout 0 default linux append=load_ramdisk=1 initrd=root.lrp initrd_archive=minix ramdisk_size=51200 root=/dev/ram0 boot=/dev/hda1,msdos LRP=etc,log,modules,dhclient,dnscache,dhcpd Obviously initrd_archive=minix will no longer work, I have tried initrd_dyn=minix to no avail. Can anyone give me some pointers? Many thanks, Dan Hart.
