I am currently trying to recompile the kernel to support VLAN and
compile vconfig to work for Leaf. Had some trouble with compiling for
glibc 2.0 (RedHat 5.2 will not make the 2.4.18 kernel because of some
trouble with the CURDIR variable, will be trying with debian 2.1 as soon
as I find the time). Will it make the kernel a lot bigger if support for
VLAN is automatically included in the kernel for Leaf. If that can be
included in rc3, then I'll try and make a VLAN package. I really think
VLAN would be very nice for leaf, as you can provide some good extra
privacy on the 'friendly' side of the firewall.
