Hi all,

Since I answered to a few mails in the users list Mike asked me to join the
leaf project.
And made a commented lrp packages list with descripton & webpage.
And since New members are supposed to introduce themselves here it goes.

My name is Kim Oppalfens I am male, 27 years old and merried for about a
month now.
I live in Belgium and work for a Mickeysoft training center. Yup that is
right I work for the
"enemy". I am responsible for the core windows 2000 track & some networking
courses.

On the job we have free evening sessions about themes that interest us and
aren't covered in
any course, and in that respect I am planning a session or two about leaf
in September.

LRP: History
I started out with the famous eigerstein release, which made it possible
for any fool
to start in the leaf environment. About 6 months ago I decided to switch to
the 2.4 kernel
and go for bering.

Current setup is Bering rc2;

With qos support, dhcp server, sshd , junkbuster, libc2.2 booting from an
ide module and so on.

I just installed a rc3 with libc2.2 for a friend booting from cdrom and
using wireless internal nic.

Things I will probably do is keep answering questions on the leaf-user
list, try to help some people out
with documentation, and basicly try out as much fun stuff as I can
(security tools). And ofcourse I will let people
on this list know how the presentations went. Last but not least if you
need a hand with anything let me know
and I see if I can find some spare time.

I am not much of a developper although I do know how to compile a program..
