Hi folks I've been playing about with the newnat13+helpers patch, and observed that I get "invalid arguement" errors from iptables when running NAT in shorewall. The docs for the newnat patch, and also section 5 from http://www.clerissi.net/nath323.html suggest that recompiling the iptables binary is necessary as well. I recompile iptables, and it's all working a charm. So, a heads up - the iptables command in Bering may need a rebuild (is anybody else having a problem?).
