there is currently no ssh-package, but it is our inetnetion to get it done ASAP.As I mentioned to Eric (which didn't make it to the list because I failed to hit the right "reply" button ...) my main aim in migrating to Bering-uClibc is to make maintenance easier - which to me rules out having to keep track of security fixes for two (or more) ssh related products (since my job really doesn't imply that - I just happen to be the paranoid one in our office...)
In the meanwhile you may try lshd, which is working and a lot smaller than ssh.
Another way is:Thanks for the pointer - I never would have thought to look for it, if you hadn't mentioned it. But the makefiles are right there, and they _do_ build ok. So, now it's just a matter of turning that into an lrp package. I'll keep you posted.
openssh and openssl and the makefiles are hidden in buildtool - don't know if it actually works, but it's worth a try.
By the way, is there any way I can help out with Bering-uClibc? I finally have a little time to spare (not all that much, but every litlle bit helps, I guess).
Well, I know how that goes... ;-) Actually, that's something I'd like to get into once I have a fully working Bering-uClibc router. As I said, if there's need for more "manpower", I'd gladly help.Oh yes, buildtool is promising, but we are behind with it...
thanks for the response - I'll get to work on trying out ssh straight away.
