Actually, I used buildtool (src/bering-uclibc/buildtool/Makefile) to
build ifup on my Debian woody. It seems that both patches
(ifupdown_0.6.4-4.4.diff.gz and Bering_1.0-rc4-ifupdown-0.6.4-4.4.patch)
have been successfully applied. I did not use the noweb in CVS since
I already have the Debian package nowebm installed. I suppose
buildtool can build a working ifup for me, but the produced ifup still
depends on ifconfig. Could it be a bug of buildtool?
