A long time ago, I put together LRPGen. It extended the module generator
developed by Paul Wouters. The idea was to select modules and packages and
set various parameters and the system would update all the parameter files
and provide a custom LRP system for downloading. As I recall, all updates
were put in one file which was loaded last. The after the first boot, a
full backup put the files in the correct locations.

I don't have the time to work on this anymore (I'm too busy looking for a
job) but it someone wants to convert it to LEAF, I can find the code and
send it to them. It was done in PHP and shell scripts.
