I would have to agree with you there Matt.... in fact, I see
ntpdate as more of a userspace utility and might be more
proper in runlevels 3,4,5 instead of single-user. In any case,
the network and preferrably name-service should be up when it runs.


Is there anyone listening who's responsible for ntpdate.lrp,
and if so, have you considered making the suggested change?

No rush, but not sure if this has happened yet.
