Everyone,
Matt asked for these, so here goes. If they're annoying, please let me
know.

Tip 1:

We maintain two 'Administration' tasks in our project area for
SF.net problems. The 'Site Problems' task is designed to allow our
project members to report problems they're having with SF.net. Once
a problem is posted to the first task one of our project admins
(usually me) will open a support request with the SF staff. A
summary and link will be added to our 'Support Requests' task.

These tasks allow all of our project admins to be aware of current
and past problems, as they receive email on every change to these
tasks. In addition our project members can track problems by
    browsing these tasks.

Tip 2:

SF maintains a document collection (Site Docs) that describes most
of the functions available on SF. The SF Site Status page is part of
this collection. A search engine is also available for the Site
    Docs.
