I've just spent a frustrating hour trying to find up-to-date packages on
the LEAF site. There are packages EVERYWHERE. There in downloads, in
developer content, in CVS, in the "new "directory, in the "latest"
directory, in the "newnew "directory... (okay, I'm exaggerating)

Trying to figure out what is the newest, and what version of LEAF is
supported is a headache. Dates are a good start, but the new "build
systems" seem to give all the packages a new date every time. The best
method I can find is to download each package I find and gunzip and
un-tar it and hope it has a version file. Many do not. There has got
to be a better way?

Imagine a newbie trying to find, say, ipmail.lrp. What does it do?
Which version of it is the latest. Look around, everyone has one in
their directory.

Sorry for the rant with no solution, but I'm going to go play a game and
take some frustrations out on it.

Sean
