I haven't "moved up" to a OS-X Mac yet, but I know several knowledgable people that have. From the sound of the upcoming IA-64 chips coming out compared to the new IBM-64 chip, I imagine Apple/IBM will receive a much larger market share in the next 2 years. One of my friends has added Linux to the Mac boot-menu that was considered impossible (until he did it). So the possibility of running LEAF on these is very good. There are also a couple of after-market manufacturers making wholesale Mac-machines as well. Another option for someone in David D's environment is use of "WinTel" which is a custom/extended version of Bochs for Mac's that actually runs as well. It is nicer than UML would be in the Mac environment for 32-bit VM's. I think that many people could really start to use LEAF in other architectures now. It would be an interesting thing to possibly start with a uClibc base, IMHO. -- ~Lynn Avants Linux Embedded Appliance Firewall Developer http://leaf.sourceforge.net http://www.guitarlynn.homelinux.org:81 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Tablet PC.
