Oxygen has indeed stalled out. I ran out of time and energy, but remain interested in the ideas and technology behind it.
I keep planning to resurrect it, especially as I have lots of time (unemployment can do that) and a Virtual PC on my Macintosh.
It is interesting to note that to this day, one has to specify which packages to load - so that you have to remember to edit this file if you want a new package to load.
With Oxygen, this is not necessary. It also uses a standard Linux kernel, and has split glibc apart so that you can upgrade glibc without having to rebuild the root.lrp.
A secondary note: all of the resources pointed at by the various home pages (Oxygen in particular) seem to have vanished.... Where does one go to get old material such as the Oxygen/LEAF ISO and the Oxygen floppies?
