Hi again,

I'll do some more looking for a jdk. I'm just trying to get a full build env. I have them on my Solaris Boxes. In fact I have too many JDKs to keep track of:-)
Is your JDK a Sun JDK?
No - it's the IBM jdk. I don't even remember if Sun offered JDKs for Linux at the time.

Good question - I don't know what's up with that. It worked fine 6 weeks ago, I'll have to have a look over the weekend.

I'm really more of a Solaris Guy so I do struggle with Linux at times. But I'm pretty sure I followed the instructions properly.
Sorry for not being clear - I can reproduce your error, there's definately something wrong with the setup (so it's nothing you did wrong). That's why I said I'd have to look over the weekend, since I don't have time to dive into debugging buildtool at the moment.

Could you check and see if you have the linux/modversions.h file? That will help me to know which direction to head.
I have two versions of that file ./source/pcmcia/pcmcia-cs-3.2.8/include/linux/modversions.h
and
./source/linux/linux-2.4.26/include/config/modversions.h
but none of those is where the compiler would look for it. And I doubt that simply copying one of those will fix anything - since hostap should not even look for a modversions.h... Or something like that. As I said, I'll have to check.
