uClibc seems to use both softdog and wd1100 as modules but the WRAP board still does not "reboot" with software. I haven't the time or the hardware to look this over. Anyone know of a simple solution for uClibc on a WRAP to do a software reboot using wd1100 as the watchdog?
Is the wd1100 module loaded or is there by any chance softdog loaded. Softdog will do zilch to the HW watchdog in the Geode processor.
please post dmesg and lsmod output
please check the values in
/proc/sys/dev/wd/graceful should be 0 /proc/sys/dev/wd/timeout should be the timeout period in seconds
cheers Erich
