I implemented the first port of the keyboard-less kernel for Bering
glibc. Would you mind  sending me kbc_runtime_detect_2_4.diff.gz.

I used Randy Dunlaps patch because it came from one of the kernel
people. Maybe you should try to have your patch added to the official
kernel source tree.
