I think I've found a solution for the init script problem based on another user's post. As far as creating a separate branch... currently I'm happy with just maintaining QBox as a project that uses LEAF (bering-uClibc). However, it looks more likely that I'm going to be maintaining modifications to multiple .lrp modules, so maybe a branch will be in order.
