I second the opinion that the server LFS needs must be beyond reproach,
like Caesar's wife.  People will be downloading software to install from
it.  But few are qualified or would even have time to do a complete code
audit.  That makes it an attractive target for hackers looking for a way
to distribute their malware.  If it were poorly or insecurely managed and
got hacked, not only would it likely cause installation difficulties for
new users, but would have an embedded gateway for zombie networks and the
like.  We must have absolute confidence in the server.
