Hi,

I've written an installer that will take the Bering ISO image and the
modules tarball and install to a hard disk so that it will boot and run
off the hard disk (ext3 filesystems), not out of ramdisk. My target
machine is a 486 with 16MB. The footprint is 6MB when booted. The
installer is a couple of shell scripts and a replacement linuxrc. It
will partition and format the disk and install Bering on it with a GRUB
bootloader.

Yes, I know that some people frown on running off a hard disk. I know
what I'm doing.

Is there any interest in me uploading the scripts and documentation
somewhere?

Cheers, Ken
