Hello all, nice to see ya all again! ;) Nothing with LEAF is or ever was GNU... search the archives (years ago) about this discussion. Years ago I posted the SRC for Dachstein and Bering (libc) as well as could possibly be done. A lot of the core was borrowed from other developers on other systems, so the src does match the release numbers, however a few of the binaries may be slightly off size wise due to differences in the makefiles or conceivably changes made to the source by an unknown developer that could not be named/contacted. The 3 year timeout is likely up on both of these releases and all others are based from these in the core or had available sources. Due to the size constraints of these releases, nothing had to be posted outside the copyright at this time other than a pointer to the licenses and the src code at that time (which is grandfather'ed in unless someone has made new releases available that apply to the GPLv2.
I love Stallman, but this isn't GNU and everything I worked on complied with the GPL as licensed. If someone cares to make everything comply with GNU, have fun. The GPL doesn't really comply with GNU in itself... there should be years of commentary by Richard on this very subject archived readily available through Googling the topic. -- ~Lynn Avants Linux Embedded Firewall Project developer http://leaf.sourceforge.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
