Last month I needed to build a boot floppy for another purpose. I shamelessly adapted Bering uClibc (Thanks guys, you made it a piece of cake). But realizing that others might need to edit the cfg file(s) from a DOSish environment and put in CR/LF, my version of linuxrc copies the cfg files to the RAM disk with tr and filters CR out.
